Anderson Powerlifting was started in 2006 by Ken Anderson. Ken is a 16 time World Record holder in the bench press. He set records in the bench press in three different weight classes: 198, 220 and 242 lbs. His best bench press was 500lbs at 65 years old in single ply at 242. He initially began as a distributor for Titan Support Systems in 2003 and quickly became sought after for his ability to offer a quick and easy turn around on gear alterations. Ken then started his own company Anderson Powerlifting and created his own line of wrist wraps and knee wraps, KLA, they became a top of the line standard in the powerlifting world. Anderson also has knee and elbow sleeves for every level of lifter, along with belts and singlets and still has the line of Titan gear as well as selected F8 Customs gear.
In 2016 Kevin Pitman joined Anderson Powerlifting. Kevin coached powerlifting in Texas high Schools for 18 years with 3 Regional championship teams, one State Runner-Up team and one State Championship team. Kevin coached 5 individual state champions and over 30 state meet individual medalists. He is a former Regional Director, Vice President and President of the Texas State High School Powerlifitng Association (THSPA). He holds the all-time single ply squat for 308’s, age 50-54 with an 815.7.
Anderson Powerlifting is still at the forefront of powerlifting gear for the RAW and geared lifter.
