Lifting History:

When did you start weightlifting and what inspired you to start weightlifting?

When I was 22 years old, my friend Tim Riggins invited me to come workout with him. I struggled with addiction for several years and spent time in jail. Starting to workout helped me swap my addictive habits to something healthy.

When did you get involved with powerlifting and what got you interested in the sport?

I first started in 1999. I entered a WABDL competition just to see what I could lift. The camaraderie and experience got me hooked!

What weight class(es) did you compete in? 242, 259 & 275
