Guideline for Contributors

Contributors Primary Point System for Induction: (16 possible points)

1) Number of active years as a contributor includes; Judge, Spotter/Loader, Scorer’s Table/Announcer, Expediter, Meet Director/Organizer, State Federation Chairman, Mentor/Coach. If you had a contribution absence(s) from the sport 3 years or greater you need to subtract that 3+ year absence from your total years as a contributor. (3 possible points)

1 – 10 years / 1 point, 11 – 20 years / 2 points, 21+ years / 3 points.

2) Number of meets contributed to at any and all levels. (3 possible points)

1 – 10 meets / 1 point, 11 – 20 meets / 2 points, 21+ meets / 3 points
 

3) Caliber of meets in which the contributor has helped. (4 possible points)

State level: 1 point, Regional level: 2 points, National level: 3 points, World/Pro level: 4 points
 

4) Contributor to Powerlifting outside of lifting. (6 possible points)

Judge: State level – 1 Point, National level – 2 points, World level – 3 points

Meet Director/Meet Organizer, Spotter/Loader, Scorer’s Table/Announcer, Expediter: 1 point

State Federation Chairman: 1 point

Mentoring/coaching others in powerlifting. (AKA: Growing the sport)

Approximately the number of years and lifters you’ve mentored/coached (estimate): 1 point

 

 

Extra Information About the Contributors:

1) Number of active years as a competitor includes; Full Powerlifting, Benchpress only, Deadlift only and Push/Pull.1 – 5 years, 6 – 10+ years

 

2) Number of meets competed in at any and all levels.

1 – 9 meets, 10 – 15+ meets


 

Through the application process the applicant or their proxy will be given the opportunity to include other information about the lifter’s powerlifting history and personal history not addressed with the application’s questions.
