Born and raised here. Lived here my whole life.
Current pursuits in life & powerlifting:
As of 2026 I’m Head Football Coach at Monroe County High School. For now, I’m retired from powerlifting.
Lifting History:
When did you start weightlifting and what inspired you to start weightlifting?
My high school coaches got me started weightlifting. They help me get into local high school competitions.
When did you get involved with powerlifting and what got you interested in the sport?
I began powerlifting when I was 15, but I did not become serious until I graduated college.
Do you have a powerlifting nick name, if so what is it and how did you get it?
Big Wilk and it was from when I played college football

What are some of your powerlifting accomplishments?

In high school I won a state title in the 258lb class with the highest bench which was 415lbs.

1st 1000 lb RAW Squat in History in 2011

I have squatted over 800 pounds, benched 550 pounds raw, in every meet except one.

I have not registered a total lower than 1900 pounds.

Who are some of the most memorable lifters/people for you in your career?

Buddy McKee for being the first person to tell me I would Squat 1000lbs raw

That I was consistent, giving, and always willing to listen and learn from others.
What words of wisdom would you like to pass down to future powerlifters?
Do what works for you and remain consistent if you want longevity in this sport.
