When did you start weightlifting and what inspired you to start weightlifting?
I started my lifting journey with my Dad at 10 yrs old beginning 11/25/1984 at our home
gym and have grown from there.
When did you get involved with powerlifting and what got you interested in the sport?
I started powerlifting in 1992 at The University of Alabama Aquatic Center and Coleman Coliseum. My training partners were Shelby Robbins and Myles Wetzel who are also in The Alabama Powerlifting Hall of Fame.

198lb and 220lb classes

I was the third 220lb lifter to have Bench Pressed over 700lbs in Powerlifting history behind George Halbert and Jesse Kellum among the Middleweight Division.

State Chair, Meet Director and pertinent meets, Judge & level & Feds, ways you contributed to other meets (announcer, score table, spot/loader, expediter)
